| When Ajit met Surya |
This post on the how my brother Ajit felt after meeting actor Surya today..
As a part of a cultural feista at his school,
Surya had been invited as the chief guest for the first day.
Ajit had gone there today just to meet him and have a look at the man whom he adores a lot...This liking for Surya had come from watching the movie Kakka Kakka..Ajit had seen the movie so many times and I know will watch them several more times in the years to come.
Ajit came back home with a bright smile on his face..He said he felt so elated that he was literally speechless...Later he began saying that he had seen Surya at close quaters cos Ajit had been a part of the human chain formed to usher Surya into the auditorium with ease.Ajit had then taken a seat right behind the actor and had taken lots of fotos of him(the one here was taken by him) and a few videos. The most unforgettable event of the day according to Ajit was that he had shaken hands with his hero..
Surya had then gone on to give a speech on his school days and about importance of friendship and moral ethics in life.He said it all in one go in a language that the kids loved to hear.Finally Surya danced with Dr.Mrs.Y.G.Parthasarathy for the song Sutrum Vizhi sudarae from Ghajini...It all ended with the same fun it had begun and Surya left the place with even more cheering from the crowds.
Thus when Ajit met Surya, Ajit adored him even more than ever.

| Mile Sur Mera Tumhara |
"Mile sur mera tumhara..tho sur banae hamara"-- does this line ring bells..This is a national integraton song that used to be played in doordarshan very many years back.
I used to love this song a lot because it covered almost all geographical regions in the visuals and was made up of all the major languages in India..THE SONG WAS TRULY AN INTEGRATION of what India is.
But for the past few years, the song is not been played and the new generation has been missing out on this wonderful song set in pre-IT India(I framed tat phrase)..What I mean to say is, we are not able to see how India was prior to all this pollution, buildings and all the glitz...The simplicity with which the diversity of what our country is, potrayed in this song always left me awe struck.
Recently there was a tv show on this song and in the show they showed the various adaptations of it.Of this I liked the one by a few students of MIT...The whole song has been done within the MIT campus and it spreads the word that the whole world is family..GLOBAL INTEGRATION...

Its a beautiful song and I feel that any adaptation of it will always be looked at with awe!!

| Thanga Vettai |
My life had taken a dumb turn this time..Well make it funny..no stupid..ok watever..I was on tv this sunday(13th of aug 2006)..Make it on Sun Tv, in the show I seriously never even dreamnt of taking part, Thanga Vettai[;@]..
It all started when I was laughing my heads off when my mom suggested that we apply for the show, I was confident that we will never go.But fate had different ideas, they did call us in for the shooting.I was there on the appointed day and the shooting was done with all the splendor and fun and the anchor Ramya Krishnan, she looked gorgeous I should say..Well I was bit nervous at the beginning,but then as time progressed got used to its presence...So the final rounds were a piece of cake for me.
The actual embarrassment of being on the show came when it was telecast..dono y I felt very silly, but it was a bit odd and tickling..to see me there on screen..[:D].
Now tat I have written about it myself, I hope my friends don't write more elaborate stuff on that show!!!!Ppl spare me on this pls!

Today news paper carried an interview with Mahendra Singh Dhoni.The following link takes u to the article:

The article is a general interview with the wicket keeper of the present Indian Squad.
Its simply a talk with Dhoni ,to understand a man beyond his famous mane.Well looks like he knows not much about himself ,as he quotes ,but there is sure a charisma about him.With so many people falling flat for him ;)[me too], this youth ICON sounds pretty down to earth..
For the final say, I simply adore his attitude.He is a person ,as he says, who wants to give his best shot to what ever he does...Thats one hell of way to do things ,to the best they can get!!
